www.mylitco.com illustrate how to find right type bulbs for your car STEP BY STEP

Not Sure What Type Of Bulb Fitting Your Car Need?

Step 1. Search and find your car model from OSRAM Automotive Lighting Database

Step 2. Choose the bulb application

Step 3. Make a note of your existing bulb's ECE-Category number

Step 4. You will find the LED bulbs you need, type in the relevant ECE-Category number at www.mylitco.com search bar.

Why can't I find the interior bulbs fitment?
  • Car manufactories don't release the information of interior bulbs fitment, different vehicle may have different fitting.
  • At Mylitco, we can help you to choose the right type of bulb. Fill in Contact Us form, we will get in touch with you within 48 hours.
What is OBC error, what solution have you got?

Due to the lower power consumption of LED bulbs, it is very common to get OBC errors when you upgrade your standard filament bulbs to LED bulbs. For example, the power output of your standard front sidelight bulb is 5W, upgraded LED bulbs only need 1W. Your car computer can not detect the LED bulbs you fitted. OBC error code is appeared on your car computer screen (dashboard screen).

Best solution is to fit extra resistors on each of the bulbs you have changed.

At mylitco, you have the options to buy your LED bulbs, with or without resistors. Fitting instruction will be enclosed if you choose to buy the LED bulb with resistors. Basic wiring knowledge is essential.

Not all the vehicles will have OBC errors. It only applies to any cars build with CANBUS wiring system, such as latest Audi Q7, VW Golf GTI, Mercedes S class, etc.

Redesigned Mylitco.com website is finally launched!

Yes, We finished!

After a longhaul battle with our previous website designer (I won't mention who it is, no point to argue any more), we had decided to redesign mylitco ecommerce website from scratch. Although the old design is not bad at all, but it was old fashion, not so current. We had spent a lot of time to make it updated all the time, but some customers still could not find what they were looking for. Our new design contains a lot of more images and videos. Customers can have a good idea what the actual item looks like.

Since moved into our new office, we have stocked more selections of LED car bulbs than last year. It covers almost every fitting of bulbs, from popular wedge based 501 sidelight bulbs to rare japanese imported cars' 7443 and 7440 fitment bulbs. My favourite will be the complete unit of LED number plate light. They are just so cool! Pure Crispy White colour, very bright indeed!

Initially, I thought that change car bulbs will be very difficult, you have to use certain tools and have certain skills. What a fool I was! Anybody can change their car bulbs within 5 minutes! Even the headlight bulbs, you don't have to take off the whole bumper. Dashboard instrument speedo bulbs are the different stories, you have to screw off the whole dashboard in order to go behind the instrument board to change the lights.

We will have daily fitting tips published for you to read. Follow us will be a good idea if you are a newbie in this field!

Join mylitco tweeter page will be another good idea, you can tweet your questions and concerns about changing car bulbs on the tweeter. We may have solutions for you. Is that simple?
